Ugh...Substack.

Hello subscribers. I know this isn’t my usual time of the month to show up in your inbox but some troubling news has come out about Substack, which is what I’ve been using to create and send out this newsletter.

First, here’s what Substack had to say about allowing Nazi views and monetization for people who share such views:

Needless to say, as a Substack user who isn’t cool with this, I don’t feel right supporting Substack by continuing to produce my newsletter here. I’ve therefore decided that I’ll be migrating my subscriber list elsewhere in the near future.

That said, it’s a busy time of year so my next newsletter (Jan 1) will still be coming from this source. I’ll also have to look into my options and find an alternative that works for me and that continues to be free (or at least inexpensive), since I want to keep this newsletter free to subscribers like you. So I’m not sure when this change will be happening, but I wanted you to know that I’m working on it.

There’s nothing you need to do at this time. You don’t need to unsubscribe or figure out where to follow me to next. I’ll handle all that for you and you likely won’t notice much difference as my newsletter will continue to show up in your inboxes on the first of each month. I’ll keep you posted though with what’s happening with that. And I welcome suggestions for alternatives to Substack if any of you want to send me them.
