So I started a newsletter...
I’ve been meaning to start a newsletter for a while now, but for one reason or another hadn’t gotten around to it.
So far, readers have been updated on my publications primarily through social media, but as we all know, this isn’t always reliable. It’s so easy to miss a post, and if you decide you need a social media break, that means a break from any updates too.
A newsletter just makes sense. Readers interested in a reliable means to keep up-to-date on my writing, now have one. The ability to opt-in puts you in control for a change, and that’s as it should be.
But as a subscriber to newsletters, I also understand you may have concerns:
Am I going to sell or share your email address? That’s a definite, “no.” Your privacy is important to me. And this newsletter isn’t meant to be monetized, so that’s not something you need to worry about either.
Am I going to spam you constantly? Nope. You’ll only hear from me when I have a new story out or something else newsworthy. Now and then I may send you some exclusive content, like a behind-the-scenes look at what inspired a particular story, or maybe free fiction only subscribers get to read.
But if what I send you turns out not to be your cup of tea, you’ll always be free to opt-out.
I hope you’ll choose to subscribe to this newsletter. I look forward to sharing exciting new updates with you about my work.
